Md,
Sai Baak means uncle and Baak Mo means aunty. Its a polite way of refering to people older than you or in this case your friends parents.
There are lots of others too

geep = a tart taste in the mouth
geet = thick (eg: the sauce/ mixture was too thick)

The characters for acupuncture are 針 灸 if you are interested they are pronounces jum gau in Cantonese and as zhen jiu in Mandarin

'唐人街' is the usual term used in the UK for Chinatown, another less often heard term is 華埠(waa6 fau6)
