I'm from Singapore and at first sight, i thought that bak Gwa was 肉幹...or barbequed meat...a Chinese New Year delicacy in Singapore...Yummy Haha

if you say mh hou haak hei (or mh sai haak hei) you are telling them that it is not good, or that they don't need, to be so hospitable or polite to you.
