I know that word longhai comes from first zi of longxi and first zi of haicheng but i still have no idea why there is no more longxi town yet there is haicheng town within longhai.

today I read local newspapers and found that there is a man from klang whose ancestors came from tongshan,zhangzhou(see the link above).This is very rare but he could be just a hakka in that area just like both leaders of taiwan are zhangzhou hakka although they don't speak hakka.
I know that 2.8 m zhangzhou people in taiwan are hakka from total of 7 m zhangzhou people there.But they don't speak hakka anymore.

Hong, you will not find Longxi town on the map because it is Zhangzhou city now. In the past, the names of Longxi and Zhangzhou were interchangeable, meaning the same place. Haicheng town however, was the local government seat of Haicheng county (xian4), and Shima was under its rule, so to speak. Shima is now the government seat of Longhai city because of its faster progress than Hiacheng town and of its compromised position between Longxi county and Haicheng county. Moreover, Zhangzhou city (I think municipality is a better word) is where the municipality government locates. To avoid confusion, Longhai city must find another place to accommodate its government offices, hence in Shima.
