'tua7-cia2' 大隻 (Mdr: da4zhi1) is different from 'tua7-cai5' 大才 (Mdr: da4cai2).

Re: "tiong-ng" (middle)
My understanding:
以为: liah8 cun2 (掠准)(all same), liah8 cue3 (掠做)(Cuanciu & Emng), liah8 co3 (掠做)(Ciangciu)
县: Cuanciu: kui*7, Ciangciu: kuan7, E-mng: kuai*7
悬: Cuanciu: kui*5, Ciangciu: kuan5, E-mng: kuai*5
大个子: tua7 kO2, (tua7 khO1 & tua7 cia4 are derogative), my mother used to say: cit8 bu1 hiah4 tua7 bu1 to described a very tall-cum-fat man, but I don't know the word for "bu1", it means "heap".(I guess maybe it is a twisted form of tu1, heap, when describing an unusual character).
元(in money): khO1, e.g., one dollar=cit8 khO1 gun5 or cit8 khO1.(In older times, yi*5 圆was used. I always think that 元 is the simplified form of 圆).

Re: "tiong-ng" (middle)
casey,I am not sure what is the hanzi for gun/gin in cit-khoo-gun.Are you saying it is yuan. But I think it is yin 银.maybe you forgot to type yin
箍圆 means 圆场 I know that chuanchiu for yin has a special vowel which is lost now

Hong
I was saying: 1 元 = 1 khO1 (or 1 khO1 gun5) = 1 dollar. In case of gun5银being used, it implies 1 dollar worth of money.
I am not sure what is the Hanzi for khO1.
银 = gun5 (Cuanciu & Emng), gin5 (Ciangciu)

Re: "tiong-ng" (middle)
I think I misread somewhere there is gwn for yin in chuanchiu. The hanzi khoo is 箍=== original for 量词
Re: "tiong-ng" (middle)
About "ng", I could think of:
ng1 (I have no font for its Hanzi): to cover
ng1 秧: young paddi. e.g., cha4 ng1 planting young paddi
and of course
ng5 黄: yellow
