Yes, I feel good to be back again. Had not been keeping in touch with this forum for a long while. Now I'm trying to trace all the old postings to refresh my memories. The Hanzi of ng1 (to cover) is not 掩. It is like 温 with 手边 instead of 水边.

we can type above hanzi but in online dict it is listed along with 掩 ?h ?? as ng

I am confused with above hanzi ?h because the dict said it is also un3 = 沾 for this zi.I am not sure what it means by un-tau-iu=蜻蜓点水

I am wrong about above dict.if we type hanzi in the box ,it will be for mandarin . If we select holo hanzi,it will be for taiwanese hanzi.roman will do for both.

I think we miss people with surname ruan in mandarin as ng2 阮.This is surname for vietnamese only?
