translation?

Post by Ayan »

I'm trying to translate a phrase from English to Cantonese. Can anyone help?

"You have enraged the master! You want to escape? No way!"

It'd help a lot if it was romanized, because I don't have Pinyin support.

你驚動了主人!想逃跑! 妄想罷!

sorry i don"t know the proper romanization in cantonese
but sounds something like:
"lay ging dong liu ju yen! sheung toe pow! mong sheung ba!"

in mandarin(putonghua) it is:
NI JING DONG LE ZHU REN! XIANG TAO PAO! WANG XIANG BA!

THERE MUST BE NUMEROUS TRANSLATIONS OUT THERE FOR "MASTER" THOUGH.. IS THIS FROM A BUDDHIST TEXT?
a MASTER IN CANTONESE CAN ALSO BE 師父 "see fu" in cantonese/ "shifu" in mandarin. In a buddhist context, 施主 "shi zhu" =Master, in classical chinese.

The actual word for 'master' is 'dean.' I substituted it because it came from a subtitled movie with bad translation. The 'master' being described is like a master/dean of a Shao Lin monastery.
