help with translation

Hi all of you in the Cantonese Language Forum!

I wanted to see if anyone knew what the translation of the word "jiu serng" meant in English? And perhaps if anyone could write the hanzi for this phrase/word? That would be great! Thanks!

I'm guessing 早上 /jou/ seuhng "in the morning", "AM"

Could it be "jiu seung"-taking a photograph? though this is not used in Hong Kong, my aunt from Guang Zhou always say "jiu seung" instead of "ying seung" for photographing.

That's very good observation, are you a beginner of Cantonese?
I think you're trying to say 照相 (zhao4xiang1) which means "to take a photograph". Guangzhou speakers are in fact more traditional speakers of Cantonese, so it's not surprising to find that your aunt used a more formal word/phrase as opposed to "影想" which also happens to mean the same thing
however do be aware that hong kong cantonese may have more slang< which is not as formal
