Does anybody know wat does "u-ling um u-mang" means?? my friend said its a phrase... can sum1 translate it 4 me.... pleaasseee... (i tried spellin it as much as i could)... TYTY!!!

It means someone attach more importance to his/her appearance than his/her life(health).
For example:
tin1 hei3 gam3 dung3, koey5 zung6 zoek8 gam3 siu2 saam1, koey5 zan1 hai6 jiu3 leng3 m4 jiu4 meng6.
It means:
It is cold but she wears so little clothes,she must thinks her appearance is more important than her health.

I think there is diffrent habit in different places. But as far as I know, in Guong Zhow and Hong Kong,the slang 要靓唔要命 is more popular than 爱靓唔爱命.
anyway, they are the same in meaning.
