Dear Mark,

I guess your New Years greetings above are in Taiwanese.

How did you learn your Taiwanese?

And how did you input your 白話字 (pe̍h ōe jī)?

Do you know of a source for a text file with all the characters and their Taiwanese pronunciation in 白話字 (pe̍h ōe jī)?

I find it hard to believe that Kobo(a taiwanese) has to ask information about inputing POJ.There are free software or you can spend a few dollars for POJ input software in PC and Mac system. The are even book written for mac input of POJ recently.

I?m Taishanese 台山人 (t毃 soaⁿ l滱g) not Taiwanese 台灣人 (t毃 oan l滱g).

I?ve seen downloads for 白話字 (pe̍h ōe jī) input method editors at quite a few Taiwanese sites but since I?m using an old Windows 95 (US) operating system, I?ve never tried any of them.

Since I think Mark wrote that he?s from Phoenix City in the US, I thought he might know of a POJ input method especially for US operating systems.

Or a character list would be even better since I could then make my own input method editor.
