I don't know,it seems like I did hear toechew news say 因為as ing-gui.I am not sure.There are many tochew in Penang state than you can imagine in Bukit Mertajam and Bagan Serai. So it could be teochew sound?

因 = in1 in Hokkien, not im1 or ing1. 因為 = in1-ui7. 原因 = guan5-in1.
