Note that above Limkianhui wrote 真易 koi7 is wrong becasue the benzi is 慧。廣韻-慧-解也。see Lirulong's book

There is a 程度副詞(adverbial) where we often find it written as 野ia2 =佷 (very)。Prof.Li rulong said the benzi is 雅。
雅﹐猶雲極也。
It is used as pretty(adjective) in teochew language.

Hi, Hong,

康熙字典 defines the pronunciation for 手+送 as 損動切, which phonetically seems to come closer to 'song4/sang4' (-ong or -and ending) than 'sak4'. Of course, I am aware that 集韻 phonetic is not supposed to be close to Minnan, but I am just surprised that the pronunciation deviated so far off (-ng and -k is quite a big difference). Just an observation.

The definition is correct, though... 推也.

Prof.Li says it a 阴阳对转 in his book.ng become k.
I forgot to mention nng3 with no benzi is also digging a hole

Is nng3 just a variation of cng3 鑽? Although we don't say lak4-nng3 but only lak4-cng3, in most cases nng3 and cng3 are interchangable. They have the same meanings i.e. to drill & to go through a narrow passage.

I don't think so because Prof.chiu and taiwanese dict don't give the benzi or else they could just put in the normal hanzi.They are not so many c and n or c and t interchange.
chhit-tho and tit-tho /tapoo/capoo coulld be different hanzi for the one who invented the word.
