暍 meaning is so clear in any dict .說文解字=傷暑也=heatstroke.I don't know 哈日﹐哈韓 are listed in the latest putonghua dict or not
物 for what also used in teochew(not mi 乜)cantonese(mat not 乜﹐咩) .See Jerry Norman 's CHINESE(cambridge press)or chinese translation from China.表示東西的詞發展成疑問詞甚麼在意大利文也有。In dict we can see single word 物 minnh can be used to say what but I haven' t heard anyone using it.
I already mentioned in this forum sim-minnh,siann-minnh﹐sann,siam-minnh,siann mngh 是物﹐是貨﹐是何物﹐甚物=甚麼
物農=minnh lang ﹐物事=minnh su,物名物姓=minnh miann minnh sinn

The tones of them are different.. Maybe that's just a corruption since 'm' tend to be in a Yang category.

物 minnh is yangru in most parts but yinru in question what 物事 (not 代 tai ).It is not the same kind of entering tone for xia,quan,zhang.Some short but some rising.Only xiamen and Longhai have short yangru.
To decide yinyang is mainly depends on the 上切字 .
毛親毛戚 bo-chin-bo-chek 毛蹤毛跡 bo-chong-bo-chiah
毛字毛墨 bo-ji-bo-bak 毛腹內 bo-pak-lai =no knowledge

You often hear people just using "mih", but I had always thought it was short for "ha-mih", e.g. mih-su? lu tso mih-kui?
