I think most people only take the second meaning.The better minnan word for 两性人 is 半陰陽 and 半男陽。There are many words for male prostitute.
The hanzi 倌 is also used in minnan as 囝婿倌=新郎倌。倌=女士﹐少奶奶。sufffix to girls name 寶珠倌。
Wu languages use this 倌 for prostitute.
