Is "pun" the correct Hokkien word for "also"? (isn't it Malay?)

I have never heard of pun. The hokkien word for also is "gah"......like " wah gah lee" = me and you

so "gwa pun cay" should be "gwa ma cay".
and what is the characters for "ma" and "ga"?

there is one book from taiwan by 林央敏 saying ma is a joint word of 每+也 mui+a =ma.
ka = and 合 not also.

I also can't think of correct translation of some conjunctions, "lagi", "mana", "atau", "cuma"/"cumanya".

hong is correct on "mah"
for the malay words u stated, i know only one..'atau' means or in english. in hokkien it will be "ark si". if i m not wrong, "lagi" means "very". then in hokkien it will b "jing jiah"

lagi: 1.again 2.also 3.(Indonesian)<present marker>="sedang"
"cumanya" (only that) ~ but (some persons use this)
