How to choose a Chinese languat partner

i am from Thailand, have been learning Chinese 2years.

more and more foreingers want to learn Chinese now. most of them want to have a Chinese language partner, and have no idea that how to choose a good partner. cos i have changed 3 partners, so want to share experience with you.

1\ your Chinese partner should be a native speaker of Chinese.

2\ practise Chinese on line is a good choice, with lower price. but, find the partners they could give you a real time, real person practise.

3\ before you buy the service, go to have a free trial (if they don't offer free trial, ok, i don't think they can give you good partners )

now, my language partner is from eChineseonlin(http://www.echineseonline.com/j.do?sid=Victoria&type=1), and last week , i have a free trial with a Chinese girl, who is the language partner.We talk about Chinese history, and she told me many legends of ancient Chinese, they were interesting. (i can speak English, so sometimes she explain things in English to me)i think it is good, and want to buy their service.after i have the first session with my new partner, i will come here and tell you my feeling. cos i hope that everyone who is learning Chinese could find a good partner and improve our Chinese learning:)
