Different ways of saying "Thank You"

Post by jilang »

Hi

Mandarin seems to have a few ways of saying thank you and related words so I was wondering if Hokkien had more than one. Mandarin has "xie xie", "duo xie", "gan xie" and probably more.

I know "Kum sia" but are there any other ones?

Thanks

Are those used in Hokkien? What are they're meanings?

I think my question was too vague. I meant to ask whether they are used in different situations like how Mandarin "duo xie" is when someone gives something to you and "xie xie" is more general.

Thanks
