Do sy guan - Library question

Hi

In Hokkien, we use Che8 (please correct my POJ if it's wrong) for book. But the phrase "to sy guan" meaning library has "sy" in the middle and when I look at the characters I believe that "sy" means book.

So is it that Hokkien has both che and sy for book? If so what's the character of che and does anbody use sy because I've never heard it being used.

So "sir" is for FuZhou. Then how do I say "library" in Hokkien?

sir is for quanzhou,y is fuzhou.zhangzhou say si.

There are different words for "book", depending on where you're from:

traditional: 冊, simplified: 册 /chheh4/ and
traditional: 書, simplified: 书 /chu1/. These are colloquial readings.

However, "library" is a literary term:
traditional: 圖書館, simplified: 图书馆 /tou5-su1-koan2/,

not /tou5-chheh4-koan2/ and not /tou5-chu1-koan2/.
