This is from yesterday local newspaper.The editor wrote
近几年朋友接二连三的把自己嫁出去，上星期妹妹也跟着嫁了。。。从过大礼、安床、上头。。。到迎亲要办的事情还真多。。。
I don't know how many modern hokkien people still do 上头

Thanks for this information Ong. My German friend and I will try and work out what it says this weekend. His Chinese is quite good, so we will both enjoy doing this together - it is also a good way for me to practice and improve my Chinese.
