Could someone please give the actual Hokkien words for the technology related words?

Also, I asked this somewhere on another post but, does "ji poann" mean "keyboard"?

I would say that Hokkien translation of technical terms usually goes along with what has already been translated in Mandarin. Let me try to translate those terms in Hokkien:

- internet 互聯網 (hoo7 lian5 bang7)
- keyboard 鍵盤 (kian7 puaNN5) but I would prefer "pa4 ji7 puaNN5" (打字盤)
- mouse(computer one) 滑鼠 (kut8 cu2)
- speakers 擴聲器,擴音器,放聲器 (khok4 siaNN1 khi3, khok4 im1 khi3, hong3 siaNN1 khi3)
- megabyte 兆位元組 (tiau7 ui7 guan5 coo2), (mega = tiau7 = million, byte = ui7 guan5 coo2 (combination of basic units), bit = ui7 guan5 (basic unit)

There may be other better translations.

Thanks you very much, Casey.

How many of those have you heard being used? In the case of "keyboard", is the first a translation from Mandarin and the second one you've heard being used?

All of them except megabyte which is too tedious to use the complete term. Normally we say "meg" for megabyte and "K" for kilobyte.
