You can either search by 漢字 or by romanization. This dictionary was published in 2000, and so the romanzation system it employs is TLPA (the predecessor of TL 臺羅, the official romanization system of the Ministry of Education), which was the system most often used in academia at the time. Tone numbers are required (for all tones, including tones 1 and 4).

Quick reference:
TLPA c-/ch- = TL ts-/tsh- = POJ ch-/chh-
TLPA/TL -nn = POJ -(superscript n)
TLPA/TL -ing, -ik = POJ -eng, -ek
TLPA/TL -ua-/-ue- = POJ -oa-/-oe-
TLPA/TL -oo = POJ -o (with a raised dot)

I feel very sad for the publisher.Who bother to buy books if it will be online for everyone soon.
In China the writers are so angry with those people who put thier book online for free.

Ah. A pity I can't read hanzi otherwise this would be very useful. Because I can't I find that I can't really use it well. With each word there is some text, is that a definition?

The book he mentioned by wusoli do has some benzi but sadly he didn't make full use of it.

Hello duaaagiii. Can English speakers use this dictionary-can I use it for English to Chinese translations? Is there an English-language version available?
