It is kind of fun to play, but I doubt it will teach a non native speaker to speak Chinese.

I typed "how to say your eyes are not at right positions on your face", it gave me a translation like:

"怎么说你的眼睛是不是在正确的岗位上你的脸."

哈哈哈,笑死人。Not any better than google. Thanks for the fun though.

There are some free online Chinese reading tools on the Clavis Sinica resources page, including a Chinese News Reader that allows you to read short news summaries in Chinese without a dictionary.
