In Hong Kong, English hallo is widely accepted and most of the cases replaces the Cantonese Hallo.

Normally for greeting , we say nei5 hou2 for Hi , Hallo

for drawing attention , we say wai3, e.g. Hallo/Hay! Mister, you've dropped your wallet.

for answering telephone, we say wai2

People may pronounce a long "wai" sound when they bump into someone they knew. That would sound more friendly and casual.

Short answer:
/Neih/ /hou/

Long answer:
Here's a basic lesson on the greeting, but there are many other ways of saying "Hi". Non-native Cantonese speakers tend to over use /Neih/ /hou/
