Updated CCDICT flatfile available for download
Re: Updated CCDICT flatfile available for download
Dear all,
An updated CCDICT flatfile v5 with minor changes is available in the usual download section.
Changes
-Corrected order of pronunciations for Mandarin and Cantonese. The last version contained the pronunciations in reverse order due to an unnoticed scripting error.
-Added CNS11643 codes for CNS11643 planes 10 and 11.
-General corrections.
Regards,
Thomas Chin

Looks to be a good resource.
1a) Will you be updating the CCDICT download again? Seems to be two years old.
1b) Available in Unicode/UTF-8/16?
2) Downloads of *.zip files are not allowed from http://wave.prohosting.com/ccdict/

Chinese is quite similar to English. The one thing that makes Chinese (Any) hard is memorizing the thousands of characters and pronounciations. Needing a four-digit hexadecimal system it quite alot, last time I checked!

Re: Updated CCDICT flatfile available for download
Is there a flatfile available somewhere?
Re: Updated CCDICT flatfile available for download
To answer my own question: the only source I could find was included in Lingua-ZH-CCDICT-0.05. If you download the package here http://search.cpan.org/~drolsky/Lingua- ... /CCDICT.pm you will find the file data.pm which contains the ccdict data.
