Some comments :
In the grandddaughter of Yeo, you have written Mue-tai (?) and after that some characters. I admired the way the writer of this gravestone how they try to write in chinese characters. Those 2 ladies are my aunts, they don't have chinese names. Her names are Bertha and Henny.

In the list of great-grandsons, I wonder who is that Ong-hian. Actually, I am the 5th oldest great-grandson, and my name is Tjong Hian (Cong-hian) but I was not born yet when this great grandfather died. When the great-grandmother died (7 years later) I was 5 years. Is it possible that the stone was written during the burial of my great-grandmother ?

For the 2 aunts who's name were uncertains, those are Ping-tong and Tiong-u. we knew them as Peng Tjan (Ping-chan) and Tiang Hok (tiong-hock).

For the Oey-3, thank you very much, Because I don't know who's buried here. I will ask to my older relatives. Also for the Oey-4.

Hi,

I have some difficulty to see the chinese characters which were written by duaaagiii.
I can remember that when I was asking before, I could see the characters, but now I can not see any more. What is the reason of changing ? Is it my computer ? I don't think that I change the setting.
I have asked a friend of mine who can read mandarin, and she can not see the character also.

There is something wrong with the encoding on this page, so you will need to manually change the encoding by doing something like

The year on the tomb stone is Confucian Calendar Year 2503 which is Year 1952.
The name is not 'ong-hian' but 'giok-hian' (if you look carefully there is a dot on the lower right side of the character 'ong', and 'ong' with that additional dot is 'giok').

Thanks for the additional information.
Strange is that we have Giok Hian as great granddaughter of my greatgrandfather. But she is not great grandson, and beside, she is also not the oldest great granddaughter.

Also for the year is making more confusing for me. I have never met this great grandfather, and I was born in 1957. My older sister from 1953, has met him, so I assume that he died between 1953 and 1957. I have still the photo of him and my older sister.

I have some tombstones which I need to know from who.

This is the last of 3 tombstones in the family graveyard in the southern area of Pekalongan (a city in the nothern coast of Java) and a branch from the Zheng tombstone which I asked before.

It was next to my great grandparent (Yeo-1) and I wonder if it is from my great uncle.

From the tombstones, I like to see the name who is burried there, and the descendants (sons-grandsons-greatgandsons etc) and if it is possible the date.

I have another question also.
Do you know a convertion program from Chinese calender to normal Gregorian calender ? I have an oldf familytree book which has all the date in chinese date.
