Help to identify Hokkien variant (endings -E vs -ue/-e)

I have a friend whose mother speaks a variant of Hokkien that I have not heard of before. I am referring specifically to the vowel endings.

E.g. 買, 賣... we normally hear them pronounced with endings -ue or -e. However, my friend's mother pronounces them with the ending -E.

E.g. 無, 做... we normally hear them as pronounced with endings -o. However, my friend's mother pronounces them with the ending -O.

(Her -ng/-ui endings (i.e. 飯, 酸, 算) are all mixed, but this one I attribute to local adulteration, rather than being a feature of the dialect.)

Any idea which variant of Hokkien this is? Initially, I thought it was Teochew, since this -E ending is one of the defining characteristics. However, my friend is adamant that her mother is not Teochew.

yes,诏安 sect in ciangciu has no o but only oo.In our cuanciu sect 多 is oo not o.So 多谢 is very strange to anyone if I use in malaysia.xia is a middle drop sound.
If I remember correctly 增补汇音 do have sound E for 批鞋 which experts still have no answer.Maybe we can find it in 禾山、杏林、海沧。Don't forget we can get ei and iei for these hanzi in other part of ciangciu.You can see two famous 漳浦 people appeared in the recent 50 most sucessful hokkien .
Last week we can read 陈火炎 in penang who was born in 厦门禾山 past away. I am sure these people bring along hu and lu .

On the same note, which sect of Ciangciu 漳州 is predominant in Malaysia? And has this dominant sect resulted in their characteristics being stronger in the spoken dialect here?

zhaoan has quanzhou vowel ir and er .E in zhangzhou is ae .I don't think any malaysian know how to speak this sect.We have a lot of zhaoan people in Sarawak but I found that they use i for ir,etc.
Lim Guan Eng is zhaoan.
No,I don't think any zhangzhong from Melaka,Johor,Serawak can speak their zhangzhong sects.You cannot consider Penang zhangzhou people are real zhangzhou because they are from haichng near Amoy.

According to my friend, her mother says her ancestors are from Lam Ua 南安. Are the -E and -O endings a characteristic of this sect?

No,I don't think so.There are 4 sects over there.

You can find people from these fours sects in malaysia and Singapore. 李光前 (华侨银行) is from 梅山 side which use li and hi.
Don't ask me where is ancestor of 李宗伟 came from.He is a nanan as well
