Help with chinese characters w/ hokkien pronounciation pls

Dear All, I am trying to find a chinese name for my nephew. We are hokkien, so we use hokkien spellings in the family back home.

William (english) = Guillaume (in french)
and sounds like Ghee Yong.

I was wondering what chinese characters they would be.

I know there is a Ghee Hiang biscuit shop in Penang.. so Ghee is "Yi4" (mandarin pinyin) & means righteous.

Can anyone help with Yong please? I know in mandarin Yong3 can be eternal or courage. But doubt if both eternal & courage are "yong" in Hokkien.

Any ideas would be most appreciated.

義勇. In this case, the 'yong' means courage.

What is "eternal" then? is that Eng?

It is either eng or eong, depending on which sub-dialect of Hokkien you are referring to.

Amoy & Chuan Chiu = iong
Chiang Chiu = eng

**Somebody please correct me if I got it wrong.

ciangciu is iong as well but there could be some villages say ing or eng.
For example rainbow is khing ,kheng,khen but a sect in ciangciu is khiong,etc.
