Find some stories, listen or read them every day for 15 minutes. You'll improve your Chinese gradually and surprise somebody one day. Here I have some Chinese stories to show you. These stories have translation on English. You can watch, listen or read them. I'm sure they are helpful. Children Story: A wolf

Yeah I think you may take some movies that is at Chinese language and try to correlate to the words and to the english translations...
