Hi!
I was having a lot of trouble looking up the hanzi for two words with pronunciations "zuk/soek," which in English sound like sook (past tense of seek).
The hanzi of zuk/soek that I'm looking for are 1) "to shrink" (suk jo sui) - like shrink from water... and 2) the version of "suk sai" when garbage is decomposed it's "suk sai"
Thank you!
hanzi of "zuk/soek"

Not to split hairs, but isn't the past tense of 'seek' 'sought'?
Sebastian.

Re: hanzi of "zuk/soek"
The first word is 缩 (to shrink)
The second word is 馊 (food turns bad)
