I am trying to translate the text of a children's picture-book text into colloquial/spoken Cantonese. Please feel free to make any changes to my little effort:

In the weeks since I made that post I've had other input:

Other suggestions were 滑動 (waat6 dung6) or 滑爬 (waat6 paa4).
But perhaps 躝 (, or even 躝地 'laan1dei6^2' ?) is more colloquial?

Other suggestions: 扭爬 (nau2 paa4) or 扭動 (nau2 dung6).
> 3. don't know what is praying mantis if it is not 螳蜋
螳螂 (also 'tong4 long4') seems to be the one mentioned in dictionaries, but I can see how that one is probably used too.

daai6 gaa1 dou1 hai6 ? ~~ 'all also are' ? I hadn't heard of that kind of phrase.
