Hi Everyone.
I have a few translations. Any help will be greatly!! appreciated.
1) I had a few questions on car (auto) terms. Are the words "tui hou" and "tui chin" to reverse and to back up respectively. If not, what is "tui hou" and "tui chin"? And how would you say "reverse" and "back up"? How do you say "step on the gas" - is it "chai you"? And how would one say "step on the brake"?
2) The next words are English -> Cantonese translations. I wanted to ask how do you say "plenty" (like "there was plenty"), "catch" as in "catching a ball" or "catching bananas."
3) The next set is from Cantonese -> English... The translations are as follows: "ngan bao" (purse?), "jaak ngaan," "faat goon," "jeot ji (jeot sounds like "jeot" as in to rub/massage)", "jung/joong ji" (i think jeot/jung ji have something to deal with things that should've/could've been). The last word is a phrase "hai jun" (it is true) - is this a phrase that means something like "it would be good" so if you said something "hai jun"... would mean it would be a good idea to do that something?
