Hokkien Malay Conversation manual 1883

Post by Ah-bin »

Just stumbled across an amazing site, full of digitised books.

http://sgebooks.nl.sg/Ethnic_Communities.html

There is a Hokkien Malay dictionary from 1883 called 華夷通語 at the bottom - free download of course.

It's completely in characters - rather fascinating if you can work out the words they're trying to write. There's also a couple of Hakka and Teochiu things there.
