Hey, anyone know the meaning of "dai geet"?

would it be dai3 git3 ?
don't know how to explain in English, but the characters are 締結 like dai3 git3 (jioin) a coalition, (sign) a peace treaty etc.

Any other feedback? I thought dai might've been the "dai" as in large. Not sure..
