"kau" translation

Anyone know the translation for "kau" that sounds like "kau" for uncle... I think it means "to mix" because it's used in cooking. like in "kau jo li di ye." I ___kau___ed these stuff. What does "kau" mean?

Just like you said, it means to mix two or more materials together. Not sure of the character though...
