Hello guys,
I am teochew from Australia,
does anyone know where can I learn Hokkien online or part time in Melbourne,VIC Australia.
I know there is one in NSW called Australian Hokkien Huay Kuan Association but I dunno what service they do and it is another state so quite far for me.
Does anyone know any Hokkien Association in Melbourne
Hokkien???? interesting
Re: Hokkien???? interesting
As far as I know there is only one Hokkien Language Association in Australia with a membership of one. Me! Pity I'm in Canberra. I'm looking for recruits though.

If you already speak Teochew you might be able to get advice on these forums on how to change your Teochew into something people from Amoy/Taiwan/Singapore/Penang might understand. I've had conversations in Taiwanese-style Hokkien (when I could still speak it) with a Teochew from Thailand and he understood a lot.
