Help translating cantonese to english

My friend gave me a recipe for something, and she didn't know the name of one of the ingredients in English, but called it sing sang bo. Can someone please tell me what this is?

Could you tell me more about the course that you were preparing?

It was for a Burmese spring roll dish, the other ingredients were carrots, pork, shrimp, bean sprouts, lettuce, and this sing sang bo. I think it is like a turnip-esque/potato-esque type of vegetable. Thanks so much!

I am sorry that I do not know any vegetable called "sing sang bo" in Cantonese.
