Dear Members
I have a book about a gungfu style called Shaolin Lohan fist. However, this particular lineage is from Malaysia and practiced by Hokkien speakers. One kicking technique is termed in English as 'Round Kick', and spelt 'sau chiao' , but unfortunately, no Chinese characters are presented. Therefore, I am enquiring as to whether anyone can present the Chinese characters for these Hokkien words? And of course, whether 'Round Kick' is a correct translation of 'Sau Chiao'?
The book in question is entitled Shaolin Lohan kung-fu by p'ng Chye Khim & Donn F Draeger.
Thank you.
