chinese name to dialect

I am registering my new born son name. Need a translation from Chinese to dialect, "Heng Hua". Is "Heng Hua" the same as "Hokkien"? The chinese name is Lim "Nuo Zheng". See attached character. Appreciate any help, Tks!

By "Chinese" I'm assuming you mean Mandarin, but Mandarin is just a northern Chinese dialect.

What you want to know, I think, is how to pronounce the two characters in your own Heng Hua language instead of in northern dialect. It's great that you want to give your child a name in your own language.

I found the Hokkien for these characters, which would be Cheng-jiok. The Heng-hua version might sound a little different, but I'm not sure what it would be, sorry.

But I wonder why your surname is Lim instead of Ling. Sounds to me like your family has merged into Hokkien community and your surname has been registered in Hokkien sound. Same as mine. ^_^

Your baby's name should be:
Lim Jiok-Cheng or Jiok-Ching or Jiok-Tshing in Hokkien
Ling Doh-Cheng or Doh-Ching in Henghua

Ya, I guess it is merged into Hokkien community. Even my dad cant speak Heng Hua, he speaks Hokkien. Tks for the help!

It should be Lin and NOT ling.

I believe Hing Hua has lost the m final consonant but it is difficult to distinguish by hearing alone. and changed to 'n' (similar to mandarin) instead of 'ng'.
