Oh yah, what's the difference between Hokkien(Minnan) and Hokkien ?

Will there be a difference in the translation ?

1) 瑞 俽

2) 恺 娗

Thanks!

1) 瑞 俽 Sui-him

2) 恺 娗 Khai-teng

"Hokkien" is the term used in Southeast Asia to describe the language and Minnan is the technical term for the language, I think they put it into brackets just in case people from outside Southeast Asia don't know what "Hokkien" means.

Linguists include Teochiu and Hainanese in Minnan, because they are closely related languages.

Apart from Sui, some of my friends were named Swee. It's a well-understood spelling in Penang. ^_^
