What are the two hanzi of the word yik/jik that mean
1) stale (yik jo - went stale)
2) power/strength (like if you were to say some sort of food yau ho do "yik")

1. not sure the character but some said it's 膱
2. 益. in your context, it should always be with cyu3處. i.e. 有好多益處, but commonly we simply say hou2 jau5 jik1 好有益
