i am a Chinese girl ,athough my english is poor, but i still try to translate it .
this is a poem(not a common sense in english, just 4 characters of every sentence) written by a man whose name is “华岩”(hua4 yan2),and he also call himself “新罗山人”
(xin1 luo2 shan1ren2),he is a painter in Qing Dynasty.
“霜气~疏、林寒叶凄”:means the sparse stand mist of early morning, trees and leafs both make people
feel cold and sorrow.
"己索春秋、青竹枝黄”:means he has seek the trace of history,as time gose by,the young bamboo turns
old.
"辛酉春二月仿吕纪用笔”:this sentence is the authors instruction, means he imitated pattern of “吕纪”
(lv3 ji4)who is a painter in Ming Dynasty to write this poem in February of the spring of the year called
“辛酉”(one year of the Chinese traditional calendar) .
“新罗山人华岩~~题”:means written by “新罗山人华岩”
____________________________________________
for these characters are too difficult and not very clear to identify.so i elide some difficult words, and the translation just a mainideal.hope the better one.
