Cantonese fonts...

Post by SassyM »

I have Traditional Chinese Windows 98 and installed handwriting recognition software for inputting Chinese. The software supports the input of Cantonese vernacular characters (HKSCS, if I'm not mistaken) but only provides a font in the Mingti style. I was wondering if anyone knew of a site where I could download a "nicer" TrueType Extention (*.tte) font, e.g. in the standard Kaishu style, so that I could write Cantonese in a font that I personally find more pleasing?

Hi,

A simple websearch via google provided the official HK government site where you can get the characters.

Thanks for your help. I've already found that site though, and it only gives a Mingti style font. :)
