here it is, this is what you've been asking for:

a-b-c-d-e-f-g-h-i-j-k-l-m-n-o-p-q-r-s-t-u-w-x-y-z

Chinese doesn't have a 'v'.

Its pronounced like this:

ah-beh-tseh-deh-uh-ef-geh-ha-ee-jyeh-keh-el-em-neh-woh-pe-chyo-ar-es-teh-oo-wah-shee-yah-dzeh

hope that helps!!!

Hi I'm just a visitor, I stumbled on this page by accident. I speak mandarin and I'm trying to learn Shanghainese, after looking at this page it seems alot of you are VERY confused, first off you must get a chinese name, there is no possibility of translation to proper nouns, Chinese names are given by personality. Secondly, chinese is a logographic language, not a phonetic (meaning there IS NO alphabet).

盼 (pàn) To Expect/ To Hope for (Advanced)
The character “盼 (pàn)” means to expect or to hope for.

Example:
Chúxīyè hái méi dào, háizimen jiù kāishǐ pàn le, yīnwèi tāmen kěyǐdédào yāsuìqián ne!
除夕夜还没到,孩子们就开始盼了,因为他们可以得到压岁钱呢!
Children start to expect the arrival of New Year's Eve even though it hasn't come yet, because they can get pocket money on New Year's Eve.

Why don't you learn every character and recite it in a song. That way they will be easier to learn ><
