I am considering purchasing a Handheld Electronic Dictionary (English <-> Chinese). Can anyone recommend a good brand and/ or model?

I own one made by BESTA, it has Canto too. I really like it and its very dependable. I paid some 400 bucks for mine tho but it came with two cards.

Thanks - was looking at a Besta the other day...was quite taken with the handwriting recognition.

Oh handwriting recognition......Yuck....sometimes its so hard to get what you want for it. You really have to write nice and neat and clear. But I think that's how it is with all handwriting recognition device.

Can you enter in Pinyin and then see Hanzi and English?
