can someone tell me how would the following translate into cantonese?

"Where are you?"

"Why are you upset?"

Does it start with something like this...

I think the first sentence can be further shortened as:
nei5 hai2 bin1 (aa3)?

and probably a typing mistake in the second sentence :p
2. nei5 zou6 mat1 gam3 lau1 (aa3 or ge1)? angry. or
nei5 din2<--should be dim2 not din2 gaai2 gam3 m5 hoi1 sam1 (aa3/ge1)? upset

could anyone help me with the pronunciation of the ending "o既" as "ge1" (coz my jyutping sucks!!!)?

Thanks for correcting me, yes, it should be dim2.

tones for ge varies depending on ways of expression.

This is his book = ni1 bun2 hai6 keoi5 ge3 syu1

The book is mine = (ni1) bun2 syu1 hai6 ngo5 ge2, as in that a child wants to claim possesion of the book in order not to share it with others.

Mild expression in replace of aa3, zou6 mat1 gam3 lau1 ge2? not to irritate the one who has already lost tamper.

PS ge is spoken only and its written form is 的dik1,but aa3 can be used in both for exclamation and interrogative.

thanks both.

Please tell me now what this means.

Dai Goh

Dai Lo

Do they both mean the same thing...older brother?

And what does "mui teng" mean?

dai6 go1 大哥 big brother
dai6 lou2 大佬 also means big brother

dai6 go1 can be used in both speaking and writing while dai6 lo2
can just be used in speaking.

mui1 deng1 妹丁 means little girl.
