Interested in learning a few Mandarin quotes

Post by Cid »

Hi. My school has a lot of people that speak the Mandarin language and I would like to impress some people by using small pieces of the language, myself. Simple things like "Hi." and "What's up?" Or even non-offensive taunts to be used on the basketball court. I would need to have the words spelled out in english so that I know how to pronounce them. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot!
PS-Is there any online site where I can type in words and find translations? Thanks again, bye.

I am right in China now.
I can tell you:
say Hi: Ni hau!
sound like: Kni how~~!
say what's up: Zen me la?
sound like: Dsen me lah~~?
Ds = birds-ds
me = m + ir(sir) --UN english not Us English
lah = laden(la)
you must very fast to speak these sentence.
I love you: wo ai ni! ---uho I kni.
good morning: zao shang hao! ---dsau shang how. or say: dsau!
