how to say "future"

How does one say "In the future" or use future as an adjective. Do you say "mei loi" - future.

So would one say "Hai mei loi..." for in the future, or as an adjective, such as a future boyfriend, I'd say "mei loi nam pung yao"?

Tell me what I should say in terms of colloquial Cantonese! Thanks~!

we use both mei6 loi4 未來 and zoeng1 loi4 將來, the latter is more common and colloquial

[i prefer...]

saying "第時" dai6si4 or "第日" dai6jat6.

and "(ur) future bf..." = "(你)第時/日個男朋友..."
