A question for everyone, but esp. spkrs of dialects that use ilâng or inlâng.
In TW, "in" can be used to refer to animals, inanimate objects, and concepts, just like the word "them" in English.
The question is, can ilâng be used to refer to multiple animals, objects or concepts in dialects that use ilâng?
If you're familiar with any "in" dialect (e.g. Amoy), do you know if "in" can be used this way in that dialect?
Gracias.
in / 伊人
Re: in / 伊人
Amhoanna, my variant hardly (if ever) use "in" for non-humans, but usually use hiâi (= TW "hia" = those) in that case.
