Virtually each town or even village in Southern part of Hokkien (Fujian) province has its own type of Hokkien. Yet generally they are put into 3 big category: Cuanciu 泉州 type, E-mng 廈門 type and Ciangciu 漳州 type. E-mng Hokkien itself can be regarded as a mixture between Cuanciu and Ciangciu.

Hi all :)

Hong, I didn't reply because I couldn't help Dante. I know tang5ua*1 Hokkien well (and to lesser degree e7mng5/Amoy and Taiwan), but not other Hokkien dialects. TMSS bible in edutech is in Amoy dialect only.

Btw, I frequently got error message when trying to access this forum in previous weeks. Did anybody here have similar problem?

Dante, congratulation that you have found the answer to your previous question. http://www.chineselanguage.org/forum/re ... reply_2185 All the best for your project.

Aries, which part of Indonesia are you from?
