"Siáⁿ" just means WHAT... I bet U've come across the word as WHAT?

"Bô siáⁿ XX" is a construction meaning NOT THAT XX, but "siáⁿ" alone, which means WHAT, can't seem to survive on its own in these environments.

Thanks Sim and amhoanna. So it's siaN2 like in siaN2/saN2-meh8/mih8?

I need to check if "bo5 siaN2 siok8" and "bo5 siaN2 toa7" can also be "bo5 saN2 siok8" and "bo5 saN2 toa7"...

Sure! My variant usually say saN2 (including "bo5 saN2 siok8" and "bo5 saN2 toa7") instead of siaN2.
