Re: jiao huan lang
Hi, Johnny
Jiao An (or Zhao An in Mandarin) in Chinese characters is 诏安。It is a county in the Fujian Province. It is situated at the southern end of the province adjacent to Yao-Ping (Raoping) County (Teochew speaking) of the Guangdong Province. The dialect spoken there is considered to be the Ciangciu (Zhangzhou) accent but it is also a bit similar to the Teochew dialect. Btw, it is the home town of Mr. Chen Shui-Bian (a Khe or Hakka) of Taiwan.
